“777 Charlie” Must Watch For Paw-Lovers

This Friday saw the release of the much-awaited “777 Charlie.” The Kannada film, dubbed in four other languages — Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu – saw a pan-India release. The movie received an optimistic viewer’s response on its first day. The business, however, can be ascertained only after the weekend tally.

This Rakshit Shetty-starrer movie is the story of the relationship between a man and a dog with a heartfelt climax. The film focuses on the lead protagonist, Dharma (Rakshit), a loner with antisocial tendencies. His life turns around for the better when Charlie enters his life. Directed by Kiranraj K, the movie is a must-watch for all paw-lovers.

The film was shot at beautiful locales in Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, and some parts of Karnataka. Canned in with a total outlay of 20 crores, the shooting started in 2018 and wrapped up in early 2021.

Amid the biopics and narratives based on contemporary issues we have watched this year, “777 Charlie” offers a quieter self-reflection about the absurdity of life. In ways, man and dog are two outcasts who have been dealt a bad hand by life. And then they find a savior in each other.

Others in the cast include Sangeetha Sringeri, Raj B. Shetty, and Danish Sait.

Fans and celebrities alike are seen praising the movie on social media.
