Aam Aadmi Party leader Gopal Italia on Sunday demanded the immediate resignation of Gujarat Cabinet Minister For Education Jitu Vaghani. Vaghani had earlier said that those who have problems with the education system of Gujarat can take leaving certificates of their wards and go to other states. The BJP minister holds the education portfolio.
“The Gujarat government is a complete failure when it comes to handling the education system. Just recently, the examination paper of 12th board got leaked and in response to this, Vaghani said ‘it is not a paper leak, the question paper just went viral’. The education minister should be ashamed of taking no actions against the culprits. He should resign on an immediate basis, ” said Italia.

Senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia will visit Gujarat on April 11 to see what work has been done by the BJP government as he hit out at its Education Minister Jitu Vaghani for his recent remarks that people who do not like schools there should go to any other state. On this matter, Italia said, “We didn’t give out the list of government schools that Sisodia ji will be visiting; if we do that BJP government will make sure that they clean up the mess even if they have to stay awake the whole night. If ministers did their job well they would not have to cover up at the last minute.”
