In an interesting twist in the ongoing CBI raids on “agents” reportedly connected to Gujarat cadre batch 2011 officer, K Rajesh, the young officer surprised by putting up a tweet a few minutes back. He simply wrote ,”modesty is the colour of virtue”.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) conducted raids last Thursday at Gandhinagar, Surendranagar, Surat, and the officer’s home state of Andhra Pradesh linked to a Gujarat cadre IAS officer of the 2011 batch Kankipati Rajesh.
Mohammed Rafiq Memon, an IAS officer’s middleman who used to collect bribe money on his behalf, has been detained in Surat. Memon is the owner of a Surat-based private enterprise.
According to an official press release, CBI sleuths raided the officer’s home in connection with a corruption investigation filed by the premier investigating agency’s Delhi unit.
K Rajesh is now the joint secretary at the Gujarat Government’s General Administration Department in Gandhinagar.
