In a recent video shared by a TV network, 83 star Ranveer Singh is seen to be overwhelmed and in tears meeting Govinda, his idol, on his show, The Big Picture.
Singh’s adulation of Govinda is well-known; Singh had described him as a ‘legend’, claiming to be one of Govinda’s ‘biggest fans’ who has watched some of Govinda’s films ‘more than 50 times. The two had starred in the 2014 flick Kill Dil.
At the show, Singh introduced Govinda to the audience as his ‘God’. In the video, Singh is seen laying at Govinda’s feet, holding onto them. Govinda appeared to be quite touched by the overflow of love. The duo danced to songs like Ishq Hai Suhana and UP Wala Thumka. Singh said that he learned to rap not during Gully Boy but by learning the lyrics to Govinda’s song, Stop That, from Gambler.
