The Special Operations Group of Vadodara have busted an interstate drugs racket and caught people from the notorious Bichhu gang. One of the accused was a female arrested by the police. Mephedrone/MD drugs worth 8.10 lakhs were captured by the team. They have also declared the Drug Supplier from MP as wanted.
Information about Tanveer alias Tannu Malek, Madhumita alias Anamika and Parth alias Sardar has been received by the team by one of their informers. It was said that the delinquents were heading towards Vadodara via Halol with the MD drugs they purchased from Madhya Pradesh.
Given the heads up, the team kept a close watch on the Golden Chowkdi, and their efforts were not wasted as they spotted the informed car, chased it to Arjun Nagar on Darijipura RTO road and blocked it, preventing the car from escaping.
The team found drugs during the search and also got to know that they were purchased from a supplier named Lalu from MP.
Lalu is now declared wanted by the police. According to the Modus Operandi, the accused have been in the business for the past half a year and they make small packets of Mephedrone they have purchased from the supplier and then sell the packets to customers. Tanveer alias Tannu Malek has been involved in extortion, land grabbing, and attempt of murder.
SOG has registered the case under NDPS and is further investigating the entire details of the case. Among the arrested are Parth alias Sardar Sharma, Tanveer alias Tannu Malek, Shehbazaz Patel, and Madhumita alias Anamika.
