Ganga Swaroop beneficiaries in Vadodara prepared a 120-foot-long banner to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi and won the record for Largest Sticker Sentence in the world. On the sticker, the sentence read, “Ganga Swaroop Mahilao Ko Mila Ayushman Bharat Ka Raksha Aadhar, Pradhanmantri Apka Aabhar”. This sticker has been registered in the Guinness Book of World Records. Nearly 22466 women were involved in the preparations of this sticker.
The certificate read, “The Largest Sticker Sentence was achieved by Vadodara Municipal Corporation for GOI’s Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna at Vadodara on 17th June 2022.” The sticker is 120 feet long and 4.5 feet wide and 13487 small stickers were used to make it. The representative of the Guinness Book of World Records committee presented the certificate to Mayor Keyur Rokadia, Municipal commissioner Shalini Agarwal and beneficiaries of Ganga Swaroop Scheme.
The sticker was displayed during Prime Minister Modi’s visit to the city yesterday. Mayor Keyur Rokadia said, “Prime Minister is working towards women empowerment and the Corporation has given Pradhan Mantri Ayushman card to Ganga Swaroop ladies. As a symbol of their gratitude, the beneficiaries prepared the sentence by using 13487 Ayushman scheme stickers. It’s a matter of pride as the Largest Sticker Sentence gets recognition and is registered in Guinness World Records.”
