The Aam Aadmi Party has planned to hold Ram Dhun ceremonies in every Taluka of Gujarat on January 21, as a part of its celebrations for the Ram Mandir consecration in Ayodhya on January 22. The party’s Gujarat chief, Isudan Gadhvi, said that the AAP’s vision was to bring Ram Rajya by improving education and healthcare facilities in the state.
The Ram Dhun event is in line with the AAP’s decision to hold the Sundarkand Path recitation event in Delhi on the first Tuesday of every month. AAP Chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal attended the first Sundarkand Path in Delhi’s Rohini on Tuesday.
The Ram Mandir consecration ceremony will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and more than 7,000 dignitaries from India and abroad. The seven-day rituals for the ceremony began in Ayodhya on Tuesday. The sculpture of Ram Lalla, made by Mysuru-based sculptor Arun Yogiraj, will be installed in the temple.
