With winter making its presence felt across Gujarat, temperatures in major cities have begun to fall below 20°C. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Naliya recorded the state’s lowest temperature at 14.1°C.
Three of Gujarat’s largest cities—Ahmedabad, Vadodara and Rajkot—experienced cooler conditions, with temperatures also dropping below 20°C. Other cities, including Amreli, Bhavnagar, Bhuj, Gandhinagar, Deesa, Kandla, and Porbandar, reported similar dips.
In Ahmedabad, the temperature fell to 18.6°C, slightly warmer than average by 1.9°C. The IMD has forecast that temperatures in Ahmedabad will remain between 17°C and 19°C over the next three days, signalling a steady onset of cooler weather across the region.
