In a remarkable and unprecedented initiative, the Adani Family successfully concluded a grand Shrimad Bhagwat Saptah at the revered Shri Daneshwar Mahadev Temple in Siracha.
Organized by Adani Ports and SEZ Limited, the week-long spiritual discourse commenced on December 14 and concluded on 20 December 2025, witnessing extraordinary participation from across Kutch district.
This is believed to be the first time in Gujarat that a major industrial group has organized a Shrimad Bhagwat Katha on such a massive scale.
Over 1,00,000 devotees from across Kutch attended the Katha Saptah, making it a historic spiritual congregation. Alongside spiritual enrichment, more than 4,000 individuals benefited from a comprehensive medical camp set up at the venue.

Siracha village transformed into a center of devotion as thousands of devotees gathered every day to listen to the sacred discourses. Extensive arrangements ensured that no devotee returned empty-handed—Maha Prasad was served daily, while free bus services from surrounding villages enabled safe and convenient travel for all age attendees.
The on-site medical camp offered diagnoses and immediate care, with further treatment support extended through Adani Ports wherever required. Continuing its welfare initiatives, the Adani Foundation also distributed fodder to nearby villages. Special arrangements during the Katha Saptah included green fodder for cows, rotis for dogs, and grains for birds, reflecting compassion for all living beings.

On the concluding day, Karan Adani, Managing Director of Adani Ports & SEZ, graced the event and interacted warmly with villagers from Mundra and neighboring areas. Villagers and devotees extended heartfelt congratulations to him for organizing the magnificent Saptah. Also present were Adani Ports Group CEO Ashwani Gupta, Mundra–Tuna Port CEO Sujal Kumar Shah, and other senior officials.
The event was further enriched by the presence of revered saints and dignitaries, including Devendragiriji Guruji of Shri Daneshwar Mahadev Temple, Manohargiri Bapu (Mahantshri, Daneshwar Mahadev Jagir), Devdarbar 1008 Baldevnath Jagir, and former Speaker of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly Dr. Nimaben Acharya, the state’s first woman Speaker.

The Shrimad Bhagwat Saptah at Siracha stands as another testament to the Adani Group’s commitment to preserving and promoting India’s religious, cultural, and social heritage.
The Group has consistently supported initiatives such as the Prayagraj Mahakumbh, Shri Jagannath Puri Rath Yatra, Gita Press Gorakhpur, Indology studies, and now this spiritually significant event near the ancient Shri Daneshwar Mahadev Temple.
Addressing the gathering on the final day, Adani Ports Executive Director Rakshit Shah stated that the Adani Parivar served merely as a medium for this divine endeavor, guided by the principle of “Sarvajan Hitay, Sarvajan Sukhay”—the welfare and happiness of all. He emphasized that Bhakti and Karma are inseparable, Seva and development go hand in hand, and true progress remains incomplete without Seva. Quoting a Kutchi phrase, “Aj Asa Joko Aiyu Aan Thaki Aiyu,” he expressed deep gratitude and said the Adani family would remain forever indebted to the people of Kutch
Representatives from various villages, social organizations, industrial units, and community leaders felicitated Karan Adani and Rakshit Shah. In return, Shah honoured the attending saints, mahants, and dignitaries on behalf of the Adani family. Shah and Ami Shah also publicly acknowledged and thanked everyone involved in the seamless execution of the Katha Saptah—including district administration, police personnel, village volunteers, Adani team members, medical staff, security teams, designers, photo and video crews, lighting and mandap teams, transport department, kitchen and canteen staff, and sanitation workers—recognizing even the smallest contribution with heartfelt appreciation. The historic Shrimad Bhagwat Saptah concluded with an overwhelming sense of devotion, unity, and gratitude.
