Demonstrating economic empowerment and community synergy, the Jain International Trade Organization (JITO) USA – DC Chapter hosted a high-impact celebration for Women’s History Month on March 7th. The event, which drew business leaders and professionals from across the Maryland, DC, and
Northern Virginia region, served as a dual milestone: celebrating the entrepreneurial
spirit of women and officially announcing the strategic leadership of JITO USA DC
Chapter Chair, Rahul Jain along with a new executive committee.
An Inspirational Journey: From Vision to Venture
The highlight of the afternoon was a keynote presentation by Namita Shah, a prominent
entrepreneur in the early childhood education sector. Sharing her journey of building a
successful Montessori business, Shah captivated the audience with her commitment to
aligning commercial success with Jain values. She spoke passionately about her refusal
to compromise on principles – such as providing wholesome, plant-based nutrition – and
how that integrity became a competitive advantage in her partnership with Kiddie
Academy. Her story of resilience and strategic growth motivated many attendees to
announce plans for their own professional ventures.

A Growing Fellowship
The energy of the event led to a significant surge in community engagement, with
several attendees officially joining the JITO USA family during the session. These new
members join a global network dedicated to “Build Boldly and Serve Deeply,” gaining
access to JITO’s robust ecosystem of professional mentorship and investment
opportunities.
Leadership for a New Era
The event also served as a platform to recognize the vision of new JITO DC’s Chair,
Rahul Jain. As a Partner at Guidehouse and a seasoned community leader, Jain’s
appointment marks a strategic shift toward digital transformation and professional
networking within the organization.
“Seeing the positive impact of these success stories is exactly why JITO exists,” said
Rahul Jain. “We are committed to providing the platform where ethical leadership meets
economic prosperity. Today’s turnout and the addition of our newest members prove that
our community is ready to lead with both purpose and profit.”

In a demonstration of the chapter’s growing organizational depth, Chairman Jain
announced a powerhouse Executive Committee composed of prominent leaders and
successful professionals dedicated to the chapter’s growth:
● Durlabh Jain, Co-Chair
● Vishal Jain, Secretary
● Minal Shah, Treasurer
● Renu Jain, JITO Professional Network (JPN) Lead
● Sharad Doshi, Public Relations and Government Affairs Lead
● Bhupesh Mehta, Past Chair
● Dr. Sushil Jain, Senior Advisor
