Rage Turns Into Horror in Gujarat: Teen Kills Brother, Rapes Sis In Law Before Killing Her

| Updated: November 2, 2025 14:20

A Gujarat teen has been detained after he confessed to having raped and brutally murdered his pregnant sister-in-law in a remote village some 50 kms from Junagadh City. The 15-year-old also killed his brother, hitting him repeatedly with an iron pipe until he collapsed.

The incident happened on October 16 but has now come to light after the police exhumed the bodies for investigation, following a complaint by the woman’s parents.

As per the police, the teen worked at a cattle shed. He claimed he was regularly abused and beaten up by his brother, who also took away the teen’s earnings.

The police said that the boy first killed his brother in a fit of rage and then approached his wife. As she begged for mercy, the teen demanded to have sex with her. After he raped her, he brutally assaulted her. “He thrust his knee on her abdomen and throttled her,” said a senior police official. He abused the sister in law so horrifically that the foetus came out of her womb. She was seven months pregnant.

The post-mortem showed the extent of grievous injuries inflicted on the victims. The man was found with his skull fractured, while the foetus had been pushed out of the woman’s womb.

The boy’s mother reportedly helped him bury the bodies.

Both have been detained by the police and are being questioned.

The boy’s father worked as a temple priest and had moved from Bihar to Gujarat around 40 years ago. He died during Covid-19.
