Almost 60,000 students will take exams for their degree and diploma engineering courses from Tuesday. The exams will be conducted at 330 examination centres.
Gujarat Technological University announced that for the students who wanted a change in their examination centre, the request was accepted and changed by the GTU.
The examinations are being conducted for the degree engineering Semester III, diploma engineering Semester III, diploma pharmacy Semester I, MBA Semester Ill, degree pharmacy Semester III, Master of Pharmacy Semester II will begin on Tuesday.
Several student organisations and colleges demanded that exams be conducted online. But, GTU was in no mood to do so and was waiting for the Covid situation to stabilise to conduct offline exams.
GTU has said that all the Covid protocols will have to be followed by students at the examination centres.
