In the past few months, the cases of drug confiscation from various places in Gujarat have been on the rise. The Anti-Terrorism Squad and Special Operations Group of Gujarat conducted a joint operation that led to another such case. It exposed a chemical manufacturing company called Nectar Camp selling MD drugs in Mokshi village of Savli in Vadodara. The team seized 200 kilograms of drugs worth ₹1000 crores from the factory. ATS has approached the forensic department for a detailed investigation.

ATS and SOG will soon take action against the company which supplied drugs to Goa, Mumbai and various parts of Gujarat. According to the sources, the Nectar Camp Company produced MD drugs and other intoxicating materials in the name of chemicals. When Gujarat police received a tip on the suspicious production of the company, they raided the factory premises and discovered drugs worth a thousand crores. Many senior officials are a part of the search operation.
ATS is yet to provide further details on the raid.
