Students at MS university are becoming the victims of system negligence and lack of proper administration. As many as 16 thousand students studying in the Faculty of Commerce have not been given the results of F.Y B.com and S.Y B.com even after the passage of more than two months. Because of this, the students in the university have been put in a state of limbo. The students are suffering due to mismanagement in data entry of the exam department of the university.
The result of the commerce and business management was declared on August 26. While in M. com, the results of four departments including accounting, business economy and co-operation have not been announced even after two months.
On the other hand, first and second year commerce students are also struggling without results. Students studying in first year have been sent to second year and second year students have been sent to third year. A total of 16 thousand first and second year students are studying in the Faculty of Commerce across the university.
Rishik Makwana studying in S.Y B.com says that the subjects change every year. When the first-year students come to the second year, the subject is changed but they don’t get the chance to choose the subjects without getting the results. Currently lectures are being given in every subject. We have made our submissions to the authorities several times that the result should be announced immediately.
According to the UGC guidelines, every university has to declare the result within 45 days of taking the exam. But UGC rules are being flouted in MS Univ. At present there is also a shortage of academic staff in the university. Professors are recruited on contract basis and their contracts are often renewed after completion.This is the reason for whole mess.
Delayed results have become a common phenomenon in the MS university. Just a few days ago the third year result was declared but even for that the students had to sit on dharna in the premises. Even after several appeals and representations by the student organizations, as the result of B.com third year was not declared, finally the students sat on dharna in the premises and finally the result was declared.
