The venue is bathed in white décor, and participants are seen dancing in coordinated white outfits, creating a polished and curated visual aesthetic. What truly sets the scene apart, though, is the presence of a Starbucks stall within the premises — a detail that has sparked even more buzz online.
The video carries an on-screen message reading, “Most luxurious and costly garba – Rs. 15,000 per person.” In the caption, it’s described as “the most premium and costly garba,” touting it as “the most hyped place for garba,” complete with perks like complimentary food and Starbucks coffee, all under a strict white-only dress code.
Since being posted, the video has quickly gone viral and triggered a flood of reactions. Some viewers were entertained by the high-end approach to the age-old tradition, while others were less impressed, criticizing the event’s departure from cultural roots.
One user commented, “This is garba? You don’t need to modernise traditions to such a level that it loses its meaning.” Another person wrote, “Please stop promoting such overrated events. I went here and it was so bad. Even though I had an invitee pass, this is extremely overrated and pointlessly overhyped.”
