Ahmedabad City Will Soon Have Free 12 EV Charging Stations in Different Locations

| Updated: January 2, 2024 18:07

Standing Committee Chairman Devang Dani and other officials from the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) inspected electronic vehicle charging stations on Sunday. The city will soon have 12 EV charging stations in different locations.

The inspection was part of a collaboration between AMC and MobiLane, a local start-up that aims to provide eco-friendly transportation solutions and create a green and smart city.

“EV users can charge their vehicles for free at these stations. This will motivate more people to switch to EVs and support Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a clean and sustainable future. We are committed to offering free charging and Plug N Charge services to make sustainable transportation accessible for the people of Ahmedabad,” said Gunjan Mehta, director of MobiLane Network. He added that the stations will be inaugurated later this month.
