Late last night, in a serious hit and run case, two youths riding a motorcycle were killed on the spot near Karnavati Club in Ahmedabad. A Mahindra Thar car was driving on the wrong side at a high speed and crashed into the motorcycle, killing the two youths. The police have registered a case and are conducting an investigation, so as to track down the driver.

When the police were informed, they rushed to the spot and were shocked at the damage. The car that crashed into the youth was abandoned at the site and the driver had fled. The police have noted the number plate of the car and are looking for the driver extensively. The two young men were identified as Suresh Thakor and Sagar Kothari and their bodies have been sent for postmortem.

Such cases of rash driving and hit-and-run have been increasing in this area and are a matter of concern for the authorities.
