On Friday, Ahmedabad University opened an International Centre for Space and Cosmology. The Centre will drive research in the fields of space, astrophysics, and cosmology, as well as train the next generation of researchers and advance public understanding of this branch of physics.
It aims to reach out to young students and provide them with information about opportunities in the field of space and cosmology research.
The Centre will collaborate closely with other research clusters at Ahmedabad University and will host visitors for short and long periods of time through workshops and conferences.
