Maryam Kaveshgar, a professor at Ahmedabad University-School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, has been selected as the publicity co-chairperson of the IEEE International Transportation Conference. It will take place in October 2022 in Macau, China.
The IEEE ITSC 2022 conference encourages papers and talks on intelligent transportation systems and automated driving that convey significant advancements in theory, modeling, simulation and case studies.
It is one of the most prestigious conferences in this field. Prospective writers are encouraged to discuss their new research work, findings, insights, and advancements relevant to advanced blockchain-based intelligent transportation systems.
Professor Maryam received her Ph.D. in Gyroscopes and Navigation Systems from Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, National Technical University of Ukraine. She finished her master’s in Kyiv and is an undergraduate from Iran. She has published seven papers and presented her work at several international conferences.
Her working history with IEEE goes a long way back. She has worked as editor-in-chief of the IEEE ITS Podcast and reviewer at IEEE, ICVES.
Additionally, she was a part of the IEEE Transportation Technologies Award committee. She is currently an Assistant Professor and member of WDC at Ahmedabad University, School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
