Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah this morning congratulated the people of Gujarat for Ahmedabad being listed by TIME Magazine in the World’s 50 Greatest Places of 2022. He said, “It is a matter of great pride and joy for all Indians and especially the people of Gujarat that India’s first UNESCO World Heritage 2022 city, Ahmedabad, has now been included in Time Magazine’s list of ’50 Greatest Places in the World 2022′. Congratulations to all for this achievement.”
Talking about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for Gujarat, Shah said that the former chief minister laid the foundation for creating world-class infrastructure in the state. He said, “Whether it is Ahmedabad’s Sabarmati Riverfront or Science City, Modiji has always emphasized on building Next-Gen infrastructure and preparing India for the time to come.”
Ahmedabad, the World Heritage City, has made it to TIME magazine’s ’50 extraordinary destinations to explore’ list of 2022. From India, Ahmedabad city and Kerala, God’s own country, are the only places that have made it to the list.
