The results of the Assembly elections in five states — Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa and Manipur — arrived today. BJP came to power in Uttar Pradesh, Manipur, Goa and Uttarakhand. AAP won Punjab and Congress was out of sight. The polling was conducted in seven phases in Uttar Pradesh, two phases in Manipur and one phase each in the other three states between February 10 and March 7.
