Shamshera hits theatres on July 22 and will see actors Ranbir Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles. According to some reports, the plot is based on a fictional city, Kaza, where a combatant tribe is imprisoned, forced to labor, and tortured by the cruel authoritative general, Shudh Singh. In this movie, a larger-than-life ideal role is played by Ranbir Kapoor, perhaps a first in his career.
However, Aahana Kumra bites shy of revealing her role in the project. This Karan Malhotra-directed film has been in news for a while now, and while Aahana does not confirm or deny, reports indicate that she is indeed cast for a pivotal cameo.
Aahana was nominated for “Best Actor In A Supporting Role” in “Lipstick Under My Burkha” at the Star Screen Awards 2018.
