Now that the e-auction of PM Modi’s mementous has entered its last week – the items gifted to the PM by Tokyo Paralympics medalists 2020, were noted to be the most favourites.
The auction, which will end on October 7, has around 1,340 items onboard. The items include the T-shirt worn by Tokyo Paralympics gold medallist Avani Lakhera with a base price of 15 lacs, a stole signed by the Olympians with a base price of 90 lacs, the fence used by Bhavani Devi, Men and Women’s hockey sticks, which they used in Olympics and a badminton racket used and autographed by PV Sindhu.
As of now, the javelins used by Tokyo Olympics gold medallist Neeraj Chopra and Tokyo Paralympics gold medallist Sumit Antil have received highest bids worth over Rs one crore ten thousand and one crore one thousand respectively. However, the base price of their Javelins was set at Rs one crore.
The ministry will notify the highest bidders through mails and items will be dispatched to them after payment as soon as the auction ends. The proceeds from the e-auction will be contributed to the Namami Gange Mission.
