The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has assembled a dedicated team of party leaders with the specific task of inducting leaders from the Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) into the BJP.
The team comprises several prominent figures within the BJP, including State party vice president and former MLA Bharat Boghra, Deputy whip in the State assembly Jagdishbhai Makwana, Minister of State in the State government Prafulbhai Pansuriya, District incharge of Vadodara and former MLA Rajesh Pathak (Pappubhai), former State party vice president of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha Himanshu Patel Punsri, and State party joint spokesperson Jayrajsinh Parmar.
While most members have been part of this special team for some time, Jayrajsinh Parmar is the latest addition to the team. According to a press release from the party, State party chief CR Patil expects this team to compile a list and enroll individuals who have contested elections at levels higher than the Sarpanch’s post from other parties or as independents. The team is also tasked with enrolling key voters, such as social or community leaders.
