In a viral video of State Vice President of Gujarat BJP Scheduled Caste and Director of Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) Jashu Bhil, he communicated about bribing money from a candidate for his recruitment as a conductor in GSRTC. The candidate had been given money in 2018, the job wasn’t confirmed. He made the video viral and appealed to others to stay away from such scams.
It is clear in the viral video that during Jashu’s tenure as director, he took money from a young man named Samad Makrani for his recruitment as a conductor of the state transport bus. The BJP state president CR Patil had ordered immediate action and suspended him on the grounds of breach of discipline for six years.
Jashu is the Vice-President of Gujarat Pradesh Scheduled Tribes Front. Also, he was a director in Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation-GSRTC during the tenure of former Chief Minister Vijay Rupani.
Jashu Bhil accepted that he committed the bribe.
