After an extensive operation, the BSF and Army troops along with the help of the Indian Air Force, today have succeeded in seizing 11 Pakistani fishing boats and have apprehended six Pakistani nationals from the area of operation in the Creek area of Harami Nalla, Kutch. An extensive search operation was launched in the creek area spread over 300 kilometres was launched involving teams of BSF, Indian Army troops and Indian Air Force on February 09, 2022. This operation was carried out based on intelligence inputs regarding the intrusion of Pakistani nationals in fishing boats in the General Area of Harami Nalla, Bhuj (Gujarat).
The operation was executed with great synergy and cohesion between BSF, Indian Air Force, Indian Army, Gujarat Police and all other security agencies. Although Inclement weather, extreme marshy areas, mangroves and tidal waters had made this task challenging, with their sheer grit and great coordination, troops overcame all obstacles.
The officials are currently questioning the apprehended Pakistani nationals is on. Additionally, the forces have locked in All escape routes effectively and a massive combing operation is still in progress.
