Established by the Gujarat State Government, regional centres of Babasaheb university underwent a land worshipping ceremony by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel from Ahmedabad. Regional centres of Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University will be started at Surat, Bhuj, Bhavnagar and Palanpur.Triranga Yatra was held as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav
The information through sources say that the Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University is going to start its regional centres for the convenience of students at Surat, Bhavnagar, Palanpur and Bhuj.The foundation tone of all these regional centres were set by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel from Ahmedabad today. Beforwe this Bhumi Pujan Program, a a Tiranga Yatra was also held under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan which was joined by the students and employees of the university.
It is to be noticed that Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University has been graded with an A ++ score by NAAC, which is an institution that evaluates universities at the central level. The chief minister congratulated the office bearers of the university for achieving this huge milestone in the journey of Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University.
