As Chief Minister was on an official visit to promote the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, UAE based Lulu group signs an MOU with the Gujarat Government.
This group has its presence in the Middle East, Egypt, Indonesia, Malaysia, and India with around 220 shopping malls and hypermarkets.
This news is huge for the people of Gujarat as it will generate employment for around 5000 people.
The Gujarat Government has promised to facilitate this group with all necessary assistance and will also depute a senior IAS official to follow up the procedures.
In the second phase of investment in the state, this group will set up food processing and logistics centers in Baroda and Surat.
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel assured that the government will make every effort to ensure that land and any other assistance is provided to the group so they can begin work.
Lulu Group’s Yusuf Ali said’” I feel so excited to invest in Gujarat and hope we can expand further in this Vibrant State.”
This group has three operational malls in India and is in the process of opening two more malls in the country by March next year.
