The state board exams for Class 10 and Class 12 are now rescheduled to begin from March 28 and end at April 12, which were earlier scheduled to be held from March 14 to April 12.
The Gujarat Government on Wednesday declared that the state board exams for Class 10 and 12 are postponed by two weeks to provide the students more time for their exams. “The decision is aimed to benefit 32 lakh students of the state who will get enough time to prepare for the exams,” said Jitu Vaghani, the education minister of the state.
Apart from this, the final semester exams for Class 9 and Class 11 have also been postponed and is rescheduled to begin from April 21 to April 30. The exams were earlier scheduled to be held from April 11 to April 21. Also, the dates of preliminary exams of Class 9 to 12 and the final practical exams of Class 10 and Class 12 are revised. Class 12 of science stream practical exams will be held from March 2 to March 12.

The education minister, Jitu Vaghani said that the summer vacations will begin at a rescheduled date – from May 9 to June 12 which was earlier dated to begin from May 2 and end on June 5.
The new academic year 2022-23 will be commenced from June 13, the state education minister further added.
