Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel attended a mass marriage ceremony in Savli, Vadodara on Monday. This is the seventh mass marriage organized by the Mahendrabhai Jashbhai Trust.
“Usually two families take part in any wedding. In a mass marriage, the celebration is truly a larger-than-life affair with thousands gathering together,” stated the chief minister while lauding the work done by the Trust.
He added: “This would have eased the financial dilemma many families undergo when planning a wedding. Savli MLA Ketan Inamdar has done a noble job by getting the daughters of many such families married.”
Many cabinet members were present on the occasion, notables being Jitubhai Vaghani, Arjun Singh Chauhan, Manishaben Vakil, Nimishaben Suthar, MP Ranjanben Bhatt, MLA VD Jhalawadia, and mayor Keyur Rokadia.
