Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel met 14 candidates from Gujarat who cleared the civil services examination. UPSC results were announced on September 24.
A total of 761 candidates were recommended for appointment. Shubham Kumar, B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT Bombay topped the list while Jagriti Awasthi, is a B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from MANIT, Bhopal . She topped among the women candidates securing overall 2nd rank.
