CM welcomes a younger CMO

As Vijay Rupani resigned as the CM, the ministers also went through a major Cabinet Reshuffle and all of the ministers in the Cabinet are replaced by the new CM, Bhupendra Patel, affecting the age group as well.

There are more younger ministers making the average age of the Bhupendra Patel Cabinet 53 which is relatively lower than the Vijay Rupani Cabinet that was 59.

In the Bhupendra Patel Cabinet, the eldest is aged 70 who is Kanubhai Desai from Pardi whereas, in the Vijay Rupani Cabinet, the eldest minister, Yogesh Patel from Manjalpur was aged 75. Harsh Sanghvi from Surat is the youngest minister in Bhupendra Cabinet is  36 whereas the youngest, Jayeshkumar Radadiya from Jetpur in the Rupani Cabinet was aged 38.

There are more younger ministers in the Bhupendra Patel Cabinet, there are 6 ministers in the below 50 age group, where 3 ministers are in their 30’s whereas in the Rupani Cabinet, there was only one minister in his 30s and only 2 ministers belonged to the under 50 cap.

There are 10 Ministers in the 50 – 59 age group which is quite similar to Vijay Rupani Cabinet which had 9 ministers in the same age group.

In the age group 60 – 70, there were 10 people in the Rupani Cabinet, whereas, in the Bhupendra Patel Cabinet, there are 8 people in the same age group.
