The Congress has amended its constitution to provide 50 percent reservation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, women, youths and minorities in the Congress Working Committee.
In addition, the Congress changed its constitution to grant women and young people a 50% reservation at all levels in both reserved and non-reserved categories.
After the party adjusted the Constitution at a plenary session, the party announced at its plenary meeting on Saturday, in Raipur, that going forward it will only have digital membership and records.
