Despite all efforts to save the players from Covid-19, it has re-entered the IPL. Hyderabad player T. Natarajan turned out to be contracted with covid.
One player along with the team and five staff members have been kept in isolation which is expected to affect the IPL game. The team’s all-rounder Vijay Shankar has also been quarantined.
Team Manager Vijay Kumar, Physio Shyam Sundar, Dr. Anjana Vannan, Tushar Khedkar and Net bowler Periasemi Ganesan have also been quarantined.
All covid tests were done at 5 am today. The report of all the players and staff turned out to be negative. It has then been announced that today’s match against Delhi will be played as per the schedule.
