On Friday, with 143 fresh covid cases, Gujarat recorded the highest number of Covid cases in three months for the third consecutive day – up from 117 on Thursday, May 09, 2022. Along with the surge in cases one covid-related death has also been recorded from Gandhinagar.
As per the fresh tally, the highest cases have come from Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation after 100 days city recorded 83 cases. Vadodara recorded 14 cases, Gandhinagar recorded 10 cases, Surat 9 and Rajkot 8.
The total number of discharged patients stands at 51 and currently hospitalized patients stand at 608 with zero patients on a ventilator. These fresh numbers take the total covid case tally of the state to 12,14,405.
