Nope, You Cant Lose Weight with Diet Cakes and Pizza!
Losing weight is a task and indeed a difficult one. Now, a lot of dieticians and nutritionists and social media diet experts make different claims and some of them pretty weird.
But we are here to tell you the trust and dispel certain myths. Today we will talk of foods you must be absolutely avoid if you want to seriously lose weight.
Let;s start with breads.
- Breads.
There are different varieties of breads in the market from sprout breads and multi grains to gluten free and vegan breads. But no bread can help you lose weight because all bread need lots of butter, ghee, cream or oil for it to be baked. So if you want to lose weight, give up bread.
2. Pizza
Unless you make one at home, you yourself, don’t even trust your own cook to give you a diet pizza! Again, dough needs butter or ghee or oil and if you plan to garnish it with paneer also, remember the dough, especially if it is from refined flour, has very high calories.
3. Sugary drinks
Remember even ready made iced tea is sugar water at the end. Also, sugary drinks whether it is that lovely masala tea or a Coke or an energy drink, they have high sugar and hence high calories. Also, they will make you hungry soon after having it. So, instead of sugar laden drinks have water, sparkling water, black coffee or tea without milk.
4. No cake or biscuit is a diet biscuit because like breads, the process of making it involves liberal use of ghee, butter and cream. Ditto with khakras. There is no khakra that can be made without oil or ghee unless you make it at home and roll your chapatis yourself. So, remember before you pop in a pastry, a biscuit or a diet croissant. It is just a name. There is no diet stuff in the baked category available in readymade style or mixtures outside.
5. Deep Fried Foods
Oil is an absolute no no. Air fry or bake at home. That is the only option.
6. Desserts
Desserts is one category that every one on diet craves after a while. But remember there is sugar, ghee or cream in it. Fat, calories and craving will make you crave for more so just avoid it, Instead take some home made greek yoghurt and toss some fruits in it. Avoid artificial sweeteners.
