In a tragic incident, a newly married young man in Navsari fell victim to a treacherous scheme on Tuesday, while he was opening his wedding gifts. As the man was opening his presents, suddenly there was a huge bomb blast and the man was severely injured. It seems that a bomb had been hidden in a stuffed toy, with the intent to cause severe harm to the couple and family.
This incident happened in Mindhabari village in Bansda Tehsil of Navsari district. The blast was so powerful that the groom’s eye was severely injured, while the bridegroom suffered injury to her hand. The groom’s three-year-old nephew also suffered injuries to his head. The victims have been admitted to a private hospital for treatment after the blast.
Following the blast, senior police officials from Navsari district rushed to the spot to investigate the matter.
