A fire broke out at Kheda Police Station on Monday, destroying the seized vehicles at police station. The immediate cause of the fire is yet not known, however FSL and electricity board are on the task for ascertaining the same.
The incident happened possibily after 10.30 pm due to a firecracker falling into a container filled with an inflammable substance that the police had seized during a raid.
The fire raged through the vehicles parked on the premises – all confiscated during various crimes. Some of these damaged vehicles were either in the stage of investigation or court trial. Police-sub inspector in charge BM Mali informed.
