Five Gujarati Ministers from Center in their homeland for Election Campaigns

| Updated: August 16, 2021 15:30

Another tangible example of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s extraordinary electoral machine, which is not known to err or be casual in their approach is the fact that prior to  13 months of upcoming elections, five Gujarati ministers from the Central Government have been roped in for public relations yatras. The yatra which would cover around  2277 km starting from August 16 for 6 days,  has been named as “Jan Ashirwad Yatra” in the BJP’s inimitable style.

The route of this yatra has been decided on the basis of a vote bank with elections in view.

Devusihn Chauhan will start the Yatra from Ambaji, Mahendra Munjpara from Ahmedabad, and Darshanaben Jardosh from Vadodara, while Purushottam Rupala and Mansukh Mandaviya will lead the Yatra from Unjha and Rajkot respectively The event will honour five ministers in 151 different socially important places and organizations. It also includes plans to meet leaders and saints of various religious sects.

This yatra intends to bring to the notice of the people the positive performance and development work of the Modi government in an effort to allay public outrage over issues like poor medical services, unemployment, and migration during the corona pandemic.
