Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi and Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot have expressed grief over the death of five people, including four Bhavnagar police personnel in a car accident in Rajasthan.
The deceased police personnel were on duty in Gujarat Police. The accident took place in Bhabhru police station area of Jaipur.
Policemen went to arrest the accused. Following the deaths of four policemen, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Home Minister Harsh Sandhvi and Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot have sent condolences.
Reportedly, four police personnel including a Jamadar and two constables of Bhavnagar Bharatnagar police station had gone to Delhi on the ninth to investigate the burglary case and were returning to Bhavnagar with one accused.
Meanwhile, a vehicle accident took place on Shahpura Highway near Jaipur in Rajasthan. Five people, including four policemen and an accused, were killed.
According to sources, Bhavnagar officials had left for Jaipur following the incident. The four police personnel who died in the accident were on duty at the city’s Bharatnagar police station.
Police have registered a complaint at the Zanzaru police station in Rajasthan and are conducting further investigations.
Locals and motorists passing by were standing by to help after the accident. He also reported the incident to the local police.
Upon learning of the incident, the police rushed to the spot and took further action. The incident was reported to the Bhavnagar police after the local police came to know that the deceased were employees of Bhavnagar and police department of Gujarat.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel tweeted that it is very sad that people including four policemen and one accused have been informed of the road accident in the accident which took place near Jaipur while returning from Delhi. “Pray to God to grant peace to the bereaved soul and give strength to the family members to bear the trauma.”
State Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi, while sending condolences to the accused, said that the news of the death of four Gujarat policemen on their way to Gujarat from Delhi due to a serious accident near Jaipur, Rajasthan was very sad.
Expressing grief, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that five people, including four policemen, were killed in an accident near Jaipur Bhabru while returning from Delhi. “My condolences to the bereaved family, may God grant peace to the souls of the dead.”
