Congress is getting scattered before state legislative election after top leaders of the parties are tying knot with the ruling party BJP in the state.
In last 5 years, 21 Congress MLA resigned from their party and joined BJP. Fun fact is among these MLAs – there are 3 who have also bagged the ministry in their account. Today, once again a prominent leader of Congress party Dinesh Sharma has resigned.
According to the sources, there is big ruffle going on among Gujarat politics before State Legislative Elections. Earlier, many members from the Aam Aadmi Party joined BJP and recently Jayrajsinh – one of the top notch and senior leaders of the party has joyously joined BJP.
In last 5 years 433 MLA changed their political parties in which 42 % of MLA belongs to congress and only 4% of MLA belongs to BJP.
Prominent and strong leaders of congress party from North Gujarat region has joined BJP along with their team, Former President of Mehsana District Rajendrasinh Durbar, President of Becharaji Taluka Congress Committee Waghubha Jadeja, Former President of Becharaji Taluka Panchayat Ranubha Zala, Former Chairman of Becharaji Taluka Panchayat Jashubhai Prajapati, President of Scheduled Caste Front of Becharaji Taluka Panchayat Ishwarbhai Rathod Former Taluka Panchayat Chairman of Mandal Danubha Zala, State Secretary of Bahujan Samaj Party Dr. Kalpeshbhai Vora, Famous Folk Singer Dasharathbhai Salvi, Leader of Sant Siromani Ravidan Youth Club Sanjaybhai Chavda along with 150 other party members were welcomed by BJP’s State secretary Pradipsinh Vaghela, Rajnibhai Patel, State Vice President Gorghanbhai Zadafia in Bhartiya Janta Party.
Between February 25 to 27, Congress will be organising party conference. This conference may be attended by former party president Rahul Gandhi, Gujarat Congress President Jagdish Thakor, Former President Amit Chavda. Congress Chief Spokesperson Poonja Ji Vansh has already reached Dwarka on Monday for the preparation. The motto of this conference is to plan the strategy of the party for next state legislative elections.
