RAJKOT, Gujarat: Gujarat Agriculture Minister Raghavji Patel experienced a health scare on Saturday night after suffering a brain stroke. According to reports, the 65-year-old minister began experiencing speech difficulties and back pain on Saturday evening. He was promptly admitted to GG Hospital in Jamnagar for initial medical attention.
Following further observation and evaluation, Patel was transferred to the Rajkot Synergy Hospital for specialized care. A CT scan confirmed that he had suffered a brain stroke. Doctors at the hospital reported that a team of surgeons conducted necessary tests and determined his condition to be currently stable.
Raghavji Patel, who also holds the portfolios of animal husbandry, fisheries, and rural development, was reportedly attending the BJP’s ‘Gaon Chalo’ campaign in Jamnagar district when the incident occurred. Further updates on his health and potential recovery timelines are awaited.
