The Gujarat State Higher Secondary Education Board is all set to declare Class 12 Science stream results Thursday, May 12. The education minister of the state, Jitu Vaghani took to the micro-blogging site and said that the 12th Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) exams results for the science stream will be announced at 10 am today.

“The results of Class 12 Science stream and GUJCET examinations, taken between March and April will be declared on 12/05/2022 at 10 AM,” tweeted Vaghani on Wednesday.

This year, the Gujarat Board 12th Science stream exams started on March 28 and were concluded on April 18 where over one lakh students appeared. The assessment procedure for HSC science commenced on April 11 and after around a month, the Gujarat Board is all set to announce the results.

The Gujarat Board last year recorded a 100 per cent pass percentage for both Class 10 and 12 as the exams were canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Last year, the board’s Class 12 Science stream results were announced on July 17 wherein, as many as 3,245 students received A grades.

The Gujarat Board declares results in six grades and students need to secure a minimum ‘D’ Grade to clear the exam. The students securing ‘E1’ and ‘E2’ grades need to appear again in GSEB supplementary exams to improve their performances and grades. The differently-abled category requires a minimum of 20 per cent marks to clear the exam.

The students, parents and schools will be able to access the result on the official website – gseb.org by entering seat numbers at 10 AM.
