Cabinet Ministers of Gujarat, led by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, are scheduled to visit the holy town of Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh on March 2, 2024, Saturday. The visit is aimed at the darshan (viewing) of Ram Lalla at the Ram Mandir, which was built under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The speaker of the legislative assembly, Shakar Choudhary and whips of the party will also join the chief minister and the cabinet minister for the holy pilgrim visit to Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
As per the schedule, the delegation will reach Ayodhya at 11:00 am. From 11:30 am to 12:00 pm, they will engage in the holy darshan and archana (worship) of Lord Ramchandra at the temple.
In addition to the temple visit, the Chief Minister and other Ministers are scheduled to visit the tent city situated near the Saryu River. The delegation is expected to return to Ahmedabad later in the evening.
It’s worth noting that the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir was held on January 22, 2024. However, the BJP leaders were not invited to the function. The ceremony was attended by around 2,000 prominent individuals, including Sadhus and labourers who were involved in the construction of the Mandir campus, from across the country.
