Gujarat CM Dashboard Interests Maharashtra Ministerial Delegation

| Updated: September 26, 2022 17:53

After the major fiasco of slipping away of Vedanta-Foxconn’s multi-billion dollar semiconductor project from Maharashtra to Gujarat which painted the newly inducted chief minister in an embarrassing light and gave the opposition much needed ammunition to target the ruling dispensation, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde instructed ministers and a few IAS officials to visit states to understand the innovative schemes Gujarat has implemented.

Maharashtra state Industries Minister Uday Samant and Minister for Forests, Cultural Affairs and Fisheries Sudhir Mungantiwar are part of a delegation which left for Gujarat on Monday to study the Gujarat chief minister’s dashboard system for governance and project implementation.

Scheduled to meet the Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel, the delegation is also likely to study the system to attract investors and industries, it is reported.

The “Dashboard” of Gujarat CM is developed in 2019. It allows the chief minister to monitor the data from all e-governance applications in the state against defined key performance indicators. With instant access to data for 3000+ indicators of over 20+ government sectors from different e-governance applications, the dashboard integrates the same for all key stakeholders on a single platform.

Keen on making a mark, the Maharashtra CM has formed three different delegations, each consisting of two ministers and a few IAS officials. The delegations will visit Gujarat, Goa and Himachal Pradesh. “The delegations will meet the CMs of the states as well as the ministers of the departments concerned,” an official said.
