Gujarat Congress To Expose Scams Worth Rs 1,00,000 Crore, Asserts Chief Whip Of Party C.J.Chavda

After accusing the Gujarat Government of Rs 500 crore land scam, Gujarat Congress on Monday announced that soon they will unravel scams worth Rs 1000 crore, Rs 10,000 crore, Rs 50,000 crore, and Rs 1,00,000 crore. Chief Whip of Congress Party C.J.Chavda announced this in a Press conference. 

Chavda further added that in Gujarat common man has to go through an ordeal to get their work relating to the Government done. But, that is not the case with people close to the Government. Congress Party will unravel scams done by the Gujarat Government in the coming days. 

“In the coming days, the congress party will unravel scams relating to Urban Development,  Paper-leak scam, ordeal of contract workers, and GST tax terrorism to give voice to the problems faced by the common man of Gujarat,” Chavda added. 

Important to note here is that in the Rs 500 crore scam accusation Former Chief Minister of Gujarat Vijay Rupani has served a legal notice to the Gujarat Congress Party leaders.  

Demand to broadcast budget session live: 

Gujarat Government’s budget session will convene from March 2 and the Congress party has demanded a live coverage of the session. The demand by Gujarat Congress was made at a meeting of the business advisory committee of the Gujarat Assembly. Deputy leader of Congress Party in assembly Shailesh Parmar told media persons that, “Rajasthan and Kerala are conducting live proceedings of the assembly whereas Gujarat doesn’t.” He accused Gujarat BJP Government of giving lame excuses for not broadcasting the budget session live.  

State Government Spokesperson Jitu Vaghani issued a statement that the opposition’s demand of allowing more time for discussion on supplementary demands.
