The Gujarat government has promoted five IAS officers to the rank of Principal Secretary and effected transfers of six.These officers included:
- Shahmeena Husain, IAS (RR GUJ:1997), Managing Director, Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd., Vadodara is promoted to the Pay Scale of HAG (Level 15 in the Pay Matrix Rs. 1,82,200-2,24,100 i.e. in the rank of Principal Secretary to Government) and appointed as Commissioner of Health, Medical Services & Medical Education and Ex-Officio Principal Secretary to Government (Public Health & Family Welfare), Health & Family Welfare Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar vice Shri Jai Prakash Shivahare, IAS transferred.
- Ashwani Kumar, IAS (RR.GUJ:1997), Secretary to Government, Sports, Youth & Cultural Activities Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar is promoted to the Pay Scale of HAG (Level 15 in the Pay Matrix Rs. 1,82,200 2,24,100 i.e. in the rank of Principal Secretary to Government) and appointed to continue to function in the Sports, Youth & Cultural Activities Department as Principal Secretary to Government, Sports, Youth & Cultural Activities Department”.
- Sonal Mishra, IAS (RR GUJ: 1997), Commissioner of Rural Development and Secretary to Government (Rural Development), Panchayats, Rural Housing and Rural Development Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar is promoted to the Pay Scale of HAG (Level 15 in the Pay Matrix Rs. 1,82,200 2,24,100 ie in the rank of Principal Secretary to Government) and appointed to continue to function as “Commissioner of Rural Development and Principal Secretary to Government (Rural Development), Panchayats, Rural Housing and Rural Development Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar.
- Ramesh Chand Meena, IAS (RR:GUJ: 1997), Director General, Sardar Patel Institute of Public Administration (SPIPA). Ahmedabad is promoted to the Pay Scale of HAG (Level 15 in the Pay Matrix Rs. 1,82,200 2,24,100 i.e. in the rank of Principal Secretary to Government) and appointed to continue to function as Director General, Sardar Patel Institute of Public Administration (SPIPA), Ahmedabad.
- Manish Bhardwaj, IAS (RR GUJ 1997), Secretary to Government, Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Co-operation Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar is promoted to the Pay Scale of HAG (Level 15 in the Pay Matrix Rs. 1,82,200-2,24,100 i.e. in the rank of Principal Secretary to Government) and appointed to continue to function in the Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Co-operation Department as “Principal Secretary to Government, Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Co-operation Department.
Jai Prakash Shivahare, IAS (RR GUJ 2002), Commissioner of Health, Medical Services & Medical Education and Ex-Officio Secretary to Government (Public Health & Family Welfare), Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar is transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Energy & Petrochemicals Department for appointment as Managing Director, Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd, Vadodara vice Smt.
