Gujarat High Court on Tuesday gave an essential instruction to the State Government regarding Fire NOC. This came after Advocate General Kamal Trivedi informed the court that about 71 hospitals and 229 schools in Gujarat without fire NOC. Therefore, the Gujarat High court told the State Government that no OPD should be conducted in Hospitals without fire NOC, and all schools without it should not be allowed to open.
Gujarat High Court bench of Chief Justice gave an essential instruction regarding 71 hospitals without fire NOC. As per the court instruction, no surgery or operation should be conducted in such hospitals as it can increase the fatality if the fire breaks out. And the Government should be strict against such hospitals.
The court also observed that as offline schools are starting and if at all fire breaks out, fatality can be huge and keeping this in mind, schools without fire safety should be immediately shut down. Advocate general Kamal Trivedi informed the court that the Government would ensure that fire safety facilities are provided in all hospitals and schools.
