The dots that link the dramatis personae and make the curious net in the Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board paper leak is starting to smell terribly fishy. Gitaben, the wife of one of the arrested persons Kishor Kandas Acharya has told the media that her husband is being made a scapegoat to shield someone bigger. She claimed that her husband accepted the crime under pressure and denied that they received any money, let alone Rs. nine lacs as alleged.
The rumours about RSS link and money for party fund to the whole episode has been doing rounds for some time now. Kishor Acharya, a supervisor in the printing press belonging to one Mudresh Purohit lives in a small flat in Manipur village on the outskirts of Ahmedabad. The links of Mudresh Purohit with GSSSB Chairman Asit Vora are well-known. Mudresh Purohit is a known BJP sympathiser and regularly receives printing work contracts from BJP and RSS for their propaganda. He has also donated Rs. 100000 to the BJP.
Fingers started to point when the police avoided naming the printing press “Surya Offset” belonging to Mudresh Purohit and from where the paper is said to be leaked, during initial briefings. It gives credence to the theory that supervisor Kishor Acharya and others are small fry caught to shield the bigger players.
