Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat on March 12 and launch two major projects in the state. He will lay the foundation stone of the Sabarmati Ashram redevelopment project, which aims to preserve and promote the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi. He will also visit the Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR), where he will inaugurate the Tata Group’s semiconductor fab unit, which will be the largest in the country.
The state health minister informed the legislative assembly on Thursday that the smart industrial city of Dholera has completed projects worth Rs 4,000 crore, which will be inaugurated by the PM. He also said that the Tata Group’s semiconductor facility, which will cost Rs 91,000 crore, will be another feather in the cap of Gujarat’s industrial development.
